Swedish export companies are looking positively towards the future, according to a barometer from the state-owned company Swedish Export Credit (SEK).
A large majority, 93 percent, of the export companies surveyed believe in increased or unchanged export orders during the coming year, according to the barometer.
The mood is slightly more positive among small companies in the sector compared to larger export companies.
"Expected increases in American import duties create uncertainty for companies with significant exports to the USA. Significant business opportunities in Europe and Asia can, however, balance these risks", writes SEK in a press release.
In the survey behind the barometer, export companies with a turnover of at least 25 million kronor and an export share of at least 50 percent have participated.
