An explosion has occurred outside an apartment building in the Vasastaden district of Linköping.
The explosion itself occurred in connection with a balcony. There is some material damage but no one is believed to be injured, says the police's press spokesperson Angelica Forsberg.
The alarm came in at 00.20 on Thursday night. The police are on site and are investigating the incident by, among other things, talking to residents of the property. The National Bomb Protection has been called to the scene.
A preliminary investigation into general destruction has been initiated.
