The police have been alerted that something has exploded in a gate in southern Biskopsgården on Hisingen in Gothenburg. The area is cordoned off and the building has been evacuated.
The assessment is that it is a suspected hazardous object that has caused minor damage, says the police's press spokesperson Jennifer Last.
The explosion occurred at a company and it was staff who discovered the damage just before 7 o'clock.
It's something that happened earlier during the early morning or night, says Jennifer Last.
No one has been arrested and the police have not yet made any charges.
