The police were alerted to the scene late on Wednesday evening after several people called about loud bangs in the neighborhood.
We received several calls from people who heard an explosion in a residential area in Barkaby, says Per Fahlström, press spokesperson for the police, to TV4 News.
The incident is being investigated as reckless endangerment and violations of the law on hazardous and explosive goods. There is no information about anyone being injured in the explosion.

The police are searching for one or more perpetrators. No one has been arrested.
