We received a call at 23:00 about people hearing a loud bang out in Rosengård, which police personnel also heard, says Jerker Olsson, duty officer at the police.

The police could later confirm that the explosion occurred at a gate in an inner courtyard. No injured person has been found so far.

We have found shrapnel damage on a couple of facades, also a glass section at a gate to a stairwell has been shattered, says Jerker Olsson.

We have set up generous cordons in the surrounding area.

The National Bomb Protection had just before 00:30, during the night towards Wednesday, been called to the scene. No person was at the time arrested suspected of the incident.
