The alarm came in at 22.51 on Wednesday and the police cordoned off an area around the entrance to the stairwell. During the night, technicians have worked with a crime scene investigation. The police have also gone door-to-door in the area and gathered witness statements.
The technicians are finished at the scene and all cordons have been lifted. No one has been arrested and there is no suspect, says the police's press spokesperson Jimmy Modin.
The police are investigating the incident as gross general public endangerment and serious offense against the law on fire-hazardous and explosive goods.
The police cannot comment on whether there is a threat against any specific person with a connection to the house.
It's too early to answer that. It happened in a stairwell, so of course we will look into it, says Jimmy Modin.
