Police were called to the scene at 10:30 p.m. after receiving an alarm about a loud bang, and when patrol officers arrived at the scene, they found that something had exploded outside the home.
No one has been injured and it was a minor explosion, so there is only marginal damage to the property, says Per Fahlström, police press spokesman.
The area was cordoned off overnight, but no suspects have been arrested.
We will conduct a technical investigation and we have initiated a preliminary investigation into public endangerment and violations of the Explosive and Flammable Goods Act.
