Something has exploded at a residence in Tygelsjö, Malmö, the police say on their website.
There are no reports of anyone being injured.
"At the scene, patrols have determined that something has exploded. Barriers are being set up and the surrounding area is being searched," the police write.
The national bomb disposal unit is on site.
