Alarm about an explosion in the Rosengård district came in just after 02 am.

Several residents in Rosengård are calling in and reporting a bang, says police spokesperson Katarina Rusin to TT.

During the night, the police cordoned off two areas. One is still cordoned off while the police conduct a technical investigation.

We suspect that the detonation occurred where we are right now. There are no damages to any building or similar. There are more signs that it happened on a street, says Rusin.

The police were able to quickly apprehend two suspected perpetrators, two 18-year-olds, after the alarm. Later during the night, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were also arrested. All four are suspected of gross general endangerment.

There are different circumstances that make them suspects. They were in the nearby area and we have also made certain finds.

No personal injuries have been reported after the explosion.
