Something has exploded in a stairwell in Danderyd outside Stockholm. No person is injured. The stairwell became smoke-filled and an outer door has minor damage, the police write on their website.
The National Bomb Protection was called in and investigated the incident. Shortly after 8 pm, crime technicians began an investigation.
Residents are accommodated and the stairwell cordoned off. A number of people have been checked and cameras inventoried. The police are also knocking on doors in the area.
A preliminary investigation into reckless endangerment and crime against the law on flammable and explosive goods has been initiated.
