Seven people have been killed and ten injured in an explosion at a cocaine laboratory on Colombia's Pacific coast near the border with Ecuador, AFP reports.
A preliminary investigation shows a gas cylinder exploded while it was being used to manufacture cocaine, police say.
The laboratory is located in a cocaine-producing area with a strong presence of armed groups. The region has been crucial for the cocaine trade to the United States for decades.
