The alarm about the explosion in Vänersborg came at 00:20, and Ttela was the first to report it. The explosion occurred next to a house in the city center and caused material damage.
There are no reports of personal injuries, says Martin Hallberg, the police officer on duty, to TT.
Half an hour later, a new alarm came in, this time in Uddevalla, 20–30 minutes away, with the same scenario as in Vänersborg.
At 02:00, a VMA was issued regarding suspected dangerous objects in both cities. It was later limited to Uddevalla only and then lifted completely.
Both incidents are being investigated as public destruction.
