The explosion occurred in connection to an entrance to an apartment building. No person is believed to have been injured in connection with the incident, on the other hand, the facade and entrance are reported to have been damaged and there are glass shards on the ground.
The police's national bomb squad had been called to the scene by 03.00. No one had been arrested at that time.
This will be classified as general endangering destruction, serious crime, says Jerker Olsson.
The building, according to the police, has not needed to be evacuated as a result of the incident.
