Something detonated at a gate to an apartment building in the Hyllievång district of Malmö on Tuesday night, the police report.
It's an explosive object, but exactly what it is we're waiting to release due to investigative technical reasons, says the police's press spokesperson Fredrik Bratt.
There are no reports of injured people. The material damage to the property is limited to a door and a window.
The alarm came in at 02.14. The police bomb technicians have examined the site and deemed it safe. No one has been arrested.
The incident is classified as gross general endangerment and gross violation of the law on fire hazardous and explosive goods.
