There is damage to the facade and a window pane is broken. There are no reports of any injuries.
"We have an operation underway in Södertälje, and we are questioning people. We are reviewing and analyzing footage from surveillance cameras and have both forensic and bomb technicians on their way to Södertälje to carry out their part of the crime-scene investigation," says police spokesperson Ola Österling.
The incident is being investigated as a public nuisance. There are no suspects or arrests.
"There have also been reports of fireworks being set off at the same time, but we have been able to determine that this is not a firework-related injury," says Österling.
