The alarm about the explosion came shortly after midnight, Tuesday night. No one was injured, but the house was damaged by shrapnel and glass windows were broken.
There is damage to the facade, but there is no risk of collapse, says Tommy Wållberg, command officer at the rescue service, to TT.
The National Bomb Squad has investigated the crime scene. The incident is being investigated as a serious act of public destruction and a serious violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods.
Police would not comment on whether there are any suspects.
“But we haven't arrested anyone,” says police spokesperson Ola Österling.
The police are analyzing images from surveillance cameras and interviewing witnesses. If there is a threat image against the address, the police do not want to respond.
We have three or four different hypotheses about what happened and why they blew up at this location, I can't go into which ones right now, says Ola Österling.
