The alarm came in at 00:30 on Friday, when several people heard a loud bang. The National Bomb Disposal Service was called to the scene.
We have had a number of resources working to arrest the possible perpetrator or perpetrators, and we have also had a number of patrols working to secure the crime scene, says Skagerlind.
During the night, a man was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the crime, the police wrote on their website.
Surveillance camera footage has also been collected, says Ola Österling, press spokesperson for the police.
The police are also interviewing neighbors and witnesses. A helicopter is participating in the police operation.
The incident is being investigated as a serious threat to public safety and a violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods.
