Police and rescue services have been alerted to an explosion in the Annelund district of Malmö.

It is still unclear what exploded, but the emergency services confirm that they were on site. However, they were able to leave the area relatively quickly.

The alarm came in around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday night.

It is the second time in just over a day that the police have responded to an explosion alarm in Annelund. Late Thursday evening, a hand grenade was thrown at a gate in the area, and a 13-year-old boy was later taken into custody for suspected involvement in the incident.
