The rescue service tells TT that something exploded on a bench by the gate to a stairwell. The facade by the gate is damaged, according to police.
"Something has hit it, but there is no major damage. Not even the glass on the gate is broken," says Andreas Aaw, police officer on duty, to Expressen, adding that they are investigating what caused the damage.
The police have no information about any injuries. A preliminary investigation into public danger and a violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods has been opened. Police are searching for one or more people who may be behind the explosion and are talking to witnesses.
