The exploded object caused only limited material damage to a store and a car parked nearby, according to police spokesman Daniel Wikdahl. No one was injured.
This is the third explosion in the area in just five days. As recently as Monday, an object exploded at a store in the Geneta center.
Police cannot comment on any connection to the previous attacks. But it is not the same store.
"I don't know if anything has happened at this particular store before," Wikdahl tells TT.
The police were alerted to the incident at 2 p.m. on Tuesday. It is being investigated as a public danger and as a violation of the Act on Flammable and Explosive Goods.
