Between five and seven years – such a long prison sentence juridical experts believe that Sean ”Diddy” Combs will get.

Among those who predict that punishment are a former prosecutor and an experienced lawyer, writes Forbes.

The estimate is a middle way between the defense – which appeals for 11 months – and the prosecutor who instead appeals for imprisonment for at least eleven years and three months for Diddy, as well as $500,000 in fines. The rapper has already been deprived of his liberty for over a year, and his defense lawyers believe that it is sufficient considering what he was convicted of.

His former girlfriend, the artist Cassie, is appealing for a long sentence.

I am afraid that if he is released, the first thing he will do is to quickly avenge me and others who told about his abuse during the trial, she says according to Rolling Stone.

The 55-year-old rap mogul was acquitted in July of the more serious charges of sex trade and extortion. He was however convicted of two cases of pimping-related crimes. The maximum penalty for the two crimes is ten years each. The court is expected to announce the sentence on Friday, October 3. Diddy denies the crime and is expected to appeal.
