Morales' supporters managed to stop deliveries to the city of La Paz for several days.

Evo Morales ruled the South American country for 13 years until 2019. Since then, the country has maintained the restriction that you can only sit for two terms, something Morales managed to circumvent.

Last month, Morales' attempt to re-register as a candidate for the election was rejected.

Previously, Morales is suspected of crimes related to a relationship he as president is said to have had with a 15-year-old girl, whom he is said to have made pregnant. He has denied the allegations.
