The recording of the new series is underway, with plans to air it on TV4 this fall. Evin Ahmad plays the researcher Zandra, who investigates the strange events, and Fares Fares is the head of the Civil Defense Agency.
"It feels incredibly fun and exciting to do a Swedish sci-fi. It's something that stands out and feels very bold," says Fares Fares in a press release.
Both actors have primarily taken on international roles in recent years. Evin Ahmad is currently starring in the new action film "Den of Thieves: Pantera" and played the lead role in Netflix's hit series "Who is Erin Carter?" last year.
Fares Fares has, among other things, filmed with director Tarik Saleh on his "Boy from Heaven", but also made his directorial debut in 2023 with the hostage drama "A Day and a Half" on Netflix.
