How will the glamour turn out this year?

The Grammy Awards is usually called the music industry's biggest party, but this year the mood is more subdued after the severe fires that have affected Los Angeles. In principle, all traditional pre-parties before the gala have been cancelled – and instead, they are focusing on raising money for those affected.

.

When does the gala start?

At 2 pm Swedish time, this year's host Trevor Noah kicks off the Grammy Awards from the Crypto com arena in Los Angeles. It's the fifth time Noah is hosting the event.

.

Who will perform during the Grammy Awards?

Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Charli XCX are just a few of the artists performing songs during the Grammy gala.

.

Who has the most chances of winning prizes?

Beyoncé, of course, with eleven nominations. In total, she has been nominated 99 times, the most in history. But there are also others who have good chances of winning a large number of prizes, including Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, and Charli XCX, who each have seven nominations.

.

Are there any Swedes among the nominees?

Max Martin and Ilya Salmanzadeh have co-written songs for Ariana Grande's album "Eternal sunshine". Music producer Shellback is nominated, along with Amy Allen and Justin Timberlake, for best song for visual media for "Better place" from the film "Troll 3". Jonnali "Noonie Bao" Parmenius also has a chance to share in the Grammy glory if Charli XCX wins a prize for the album "Brat" – the Swede has co-written the song "Apple" on the album.

.

Will Taylor Swift be there?

Yes, the American star will be presenting one of the prizes during the Grammy Awards, which is still unknown. She is also nominated for several prizes for her album "The tortured poets department" and for the single "Fortnight".
