The surplus in the eurozone's transactions with the rest of the world increased to 27.9 billion euros in March, according to an adjusted measure from the statistics bureau Eurostat. It can be compared with 22.7 billion in February.
Exports rose by 13.6 percent to 279.8 billion euros, while imports rose by 8.8 percent to 243.0 billion, which means an unadjusted surplus of 36.8 billion.
