Eurozone retail sales rise less than expected in May

It was a slightly smaller increase than the average forecast among analysts, which, according to the Bloomberg news agency, was for an increase of 0.3 percent.

In April, retail sales in the eurozone decreased by 0.3 percent, according to revised figures from Eurostat.

Producer prices in the euro zone rose 0.2 percent in May from the previous month, according to a separate report from Eurostat, in line with expectations.
