23 countries participated in the operation led by German authorities with support from Europol against one of the largest platform networks on the darknet.

“Operation Alice,” which ran from March 9 to 19, targeted an operator that ran more than 373,000 websites advertising child sexual abuse material and offering cybercrime-as-a-service.

The investigation also revealed the identities of 440 customers who had used the operator's services.

“Operation Alice sends a clear message: there is nowhere to hide from criminals when the international law enforcement community works hand in hand,” said Europol Director Catherine De Bolle in a statement.
