In Tuesday's two votes, the trade deal that European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen made with US President Donald Trump was approved by 440 votes to 151 and 444 votes to 152.
In Sweden, S, M, SD, C, L and KD voted yes, while V and MP voted no.
"We have built a foundation for stability while Trump creates chaos," wrote Karin Karlsbro (L) in a comment via text message.
All that remains now is for the EU member states in the Council of Ministers to give their final formal approval. The agreement means that the US will levy 15 percent import duties on most European goods.
