European defence stocks are falling on Monday following the announcement over the weekend of an impending top meeting between Ukraine and Russia and a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyj claims to be ready to meet Russia's President Vladimir Putin this week.
The latest developments have caused defence stocks across Europe to fall on Monday.
Swedish defence company Saab is falling by over 3 per cent in the morning, German Rheinmetall is falling by 5.6 per cent, the French arms company Thales is down by 3.5 per cent, BAE Systems is falling by 3 per cent and Italian Leonardo is down by over 5 per cent.
