The defense ministers of five European countries will meet in Rome on Friday, according to Italy's Defense Minister Guido Crosetto in a statement.
The purpose is to discuss support to Ukraine.
Besides Italy, the defense ministers from the United Kingdom, France, and Poland will participate.
Besides Ukraine, the ministers will talk about how Europe's defense will be strengthened. Following lunch on Friday, they are expected to hold a joint press conference.
