A European citizen has been arrested in Iran suspected of espionage, reports the Revolutionary Guard on Tuesday.
The man, who was arrested in the province of Hormozgan in the southern parts of the country, is alleged to have collected information about "sensitive and military sites". He is said to have pretended to be a tourist, according to the Revolutionary Guard.
It is not known which country the man is a citizen of.
Iran has arrested a number of people accused of spying for Israel since the country attacked Iran on the night of Friday, June 13.
On Monday, it became known that another European citizen was arrested in the province of Hamedan in western Iran suspected of espionage.
