The Georgian striker Georges Mikautadze, who made a success during the summer's European Championship, was involved in a traumatic experience after his Lyon won against Nice with 4–1 on Sunday evening.
When he got home, the 24-year-old became the victim of an armed robbery. He reports this on his social media.
According to French media, the perpetrators forced Mikautadze to let them into his house, and then hand over belongings worth between 1.7 and 2.3 million kronor.
However, on his social media, the striker confirms that he escaped unharmed.
"After what happened yesterday, I want to assure you that I'm fine, and have no physical injuries", he writes and continues:
"Thanks for your support, it means incredibly much. Take care of your loved ones".
