Euro Zone Inflation Increases in September

Inflation in the euro zone picked up again in September, which strengthens the belief that the European Central Bank (ECB) will wait with interest rate cuts.

After having been at the inflation target (2 percent), an increase occurred in September to 2.2 percent. It was at the same time in line with market expectations, according to Bloomberg's compilation.
