In a vote on Thursday, 23 members voted in favor and only 1 against the European Commission's proposal to provide the equivalent of SEK 93 million to those affected.
The money will help the unemployed to quickly return to the labor market, either through retraining, education or support for their own businesses.
A final vote on the money is expected in the full parliament in December.
