The agreement, which many have called the "agreement of humiliation," means in practice that the US will impose a 15 percent tariff on most European goods, while the EU will, among other things, remove tariffs on American industrial goods.
Last month, the European Parliament and EU member states agreed to implement the tariff deal after Donald Trump demanded a deal by July 4.
