According to preliminary investigations, Pornhub, Stripchat, XNXX, and X Videos do not do enough to ensure that minors are protected from the material.
"The online world should be a safe environment for young people to learn and connect. We are firmly determined to tackle all potential harm to young internet users," writes EU Commissioner Henna Virkkunen in a press release.
In parallel, the Commission notes that Stripchat no longer has enough visitors to be considered a "very large platform" – the websites that must follow particularly tough rules within the DSA.
