Europe is under attack in a world that is becoming increasingly more dangerous with each passing day, warns the EU's Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas in a debate in the EU Parliament where she calls for increased defense investments ahead of next week's NATO summit in The Hague.
–Russia is already a direct threat to the EU. Russia violates our airspace, conducts provocative military exercises, attacks our pipelines and recruits criminals to carry out sabotage, says Kallas.
The Foreign Minister is still optimistic – if the Western world manages to stick together.
–Against NATO and the EU, Russia does not stand a chance, but we must stand together, says the Foreign Minister in Strasbourg.
