The airline will launch in December and operate the Landvetter-Abu Dhabi route four times a week, Swedavia announced in a press release.
"This is the first direct connection between Gothenburg and the United Arab Emirates. Companies in Western Sweden trade throughout Asia, and many of our travelers have relatives, friends and family in the region. The new connection will improve access for the region, especially to the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia," says Mats Johannesson, CEO of Swedavia, in a press release.
