During the 2025/2026 concert season, they will be joined in the repertoire by, among others, this year's Polar Prize winner Barbara Hannigan, pianist Yuja Wang, and conductor Antonio Pappano.
For the first time in 18 years, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra is planning a new concert season without a chief conductor. Daniel Harding, who recently left, has not been replaced. Instead, Maksim Jemeljanytjev has been appointed as the first guest conductor, a role he now assumes.
The theme of the concert season is "Reflections & Reflections", a red thread that recurs in the musical program. Among the singers who will appear on stage in Stockholm are, among others, Hanna Husahr, David Risberg, and Malena Ernman.
