The film "ViQueens" is currently in production and is described as an action comedy for the whole family.
"Erling has become a modern Viking icon internationally - fearless, powerful and unmistakably Norwegian. When we were going to make a film about this era, we couldn't have found a better character. We're letting him play himself, the legendary Viking known as 'Haaland,'" says producer Veslemøy Ruud Zwart in a press release.
The character "Haaland" is part of the King's crew, and Haaland will dub both the Norwegian and English versions of the film.
According to VG, several big international names are involved in the production. Pop star Rita Ora and actor Ella Purnell will provide the voices for the royal daughter Ingrid and her friend Hedvig.
