Magdalena Eriksson and Rebecka Blomqvist, both selected in Tony Gustavsson's first national team squad for the Nations League semifinals against Spain, scored one goal each in this weekend's round.
Eriksson set the tone in Bayern Munich's big win at home against Köln. With a bandage around her head, the defensive general headed in 2–1 on a corner kick at the beginning of the second half – a goal that paved the way for the 5–1 triumph.
At the same time, Blomqvist continues to deliver for her new team. The attacker scored one of the goals when Eintracht Frankfurt defeated Werder Bremen 2–0 – her fourth goal in as many matches since the move from Wolfsburg last summer.
The first semifinal is played in Spain on Friday.
