Erik Mobärg Celebrates Podium Finish at Idre World Cup Event

Next to last World Cup event and home turf. Then, cross-country skiing star Erik Mobärg struck with a third place in Idre. It's damn fun, second podium for this season and nice to finish the season with a good run, says the 27-year-old to SVT.

Little brother David Mobärg, 25, also made it to the final, but finished last in fourth place.

He has done a damn good job and was really fast in the start. Now I caught up with him, but I think the start played a bigger role here in Idre than it has in other competitions, says Erik Mobärg.

Reece Howden, Canada, won ahead of Simone Deromedis, Italy.

The season's last competition will be held on Sunday in Idre.

It's both fun and sad that the season is ending. It's just a matter of going all out and then the work for next season begins again, says Erik Mobärg to SVT.
