After two straight losses, the Pittsburgh Penguins took a long-awaited 4-3 win against the Utah Mammoth last night.
Erik Karlsson had two assists, giving him 40 assists for the season - the eleventh time in his NHL career.
"This was a really important win for us tonight. We needed it. And it was well deserved," Erik Karlsson told Expressen.
Karlsson has seven points, one goal and six assists in the last five games. However, reaching 40 assists for the eleventh time doesn't seem to bother him much.
"No, not right now. It's fun to see your teammates score goals when you pass."
Rickard Rakell also contributed an assist in Pittsburgh's victory.
