Three Crowns reinforce the World Championship squad with defenseman Erik Gustafsson from Detroit, and forward Emil Heineman from Montreal.

Heineman made the last season his first full season in NHL when it became 18 points (ten goals, eight assists) in 62 matches. He makes his World Championship debut. The 23-year-old has only played three national team matches with Three Crowns previously.
Gustafsson played the World Championship last in 2022 and has made a total of 36 matches in the Three Crowns jersey.
The World Championship begins on Friday in Stockholm when Sweden takes on Slovakia.
