Ericsson signs multi-year agreement with Japanese telecom company SoftBank Corp

Ericsson will expand the telecom company's core network in Japan and accelerate its transition to 5G.

“Ericsson's technologies and automation solutions form an important foundation for achieving the fusion of AI and networks that we are pursuing,” says Softbank Corp. Executive Vice President Hideyuki Tsukuda in a press release.

It is not clear how much the deal is worth.
