Ericsson Secures Multibillion Deal with Vodafone for 5G Network Expansion

The telecom company Ericsson has entered into an agreement worth 12.5 billion kronor with the British telecom operator Vodafone Three to deliver equipment to the next generation mobile network.

In a press release, Ericsson writes that the agreement extends over eight years when Vodafone Three will carry out Europe's largest network consolidation project.

"We are proud to collaborate with Vodafone Three as their primary supplier and provide them with the most advanced programmable network products, software and solutions in the world", says Börje Ekholm, CEO of Ericsson, according to the press release.
