Telecom giant Ericsson has entered into a collaboration with Export Development Canada to jointly invest $3 billion, approximately 28 billion kronor, in, among other things, research and supply chains in Canada, according to a press release.
CEO Börje Ekholm says in a written comment that Canada is one of Ericsson's most important hubs for research and development and that this collaboration further strengthens that role.
The cooperation agreement is three-year.
