Viktor Gyökeres has led Sweden's attack in this national team campaign and after two wins and a draw, the striker has scored three goals.

But Gyökeres has also earned plenty of praise. He has stood out through the hard work he puts in and the constant deep runs. One who is impressed by the striker is centre back Eric Smith.

"He gets hit a lot but he also gives a lot. It's a give and take but he's a strong footballer so he can handle it," says Smith.

The players' positions mean that they often face each other in training duels. Smith has thus got to know Gyökeres' physique, but believes it is possible to get the Arsenal star off balance.

It's not fun to go into close combat right away, he's a bit ugly too but usually on the right side. It hurts to face a striker like that. It's very easy to tease Viktor but it's also wrong to do it because he'll punish you. So I wouldn't tell anyone else to do it, says Eric Smith.
