”It's great fun that 'Körslaget' is back and even better that it's together with the Cancer Foundation this time”, says Eric Saade in a press release.
”Körslaget – together against cancer” premieres on December 13.
The program is made in collaboration with the Cancer Foundation and the big final is combined with the fundraising evening ”Together against cancer”, with the purpose of collecting money for cancer research.
Saade was earlier this year current as a jury member in ”Let's dance”.
Twelve years long break
It's after a break of twelve years that ”Körslaget” comes back in a new version to TV4 and TV4 Play. During four Saturdays, the viewers will get to follow six choirs that struggle for a place in the big final on January 10.
As choir leaders, we see Joakim Lundell, John Lundvik, Klara Hammarström, Eric Gadd, Linnea Henriksson, and Janice Kavander. Each week has different themes and it will be everything from rock to ”Billboard bangers”.
Additionally, the originator behind ”Körslaget” and choir leader Caroline af Ugglas takes a place in the jury box together with the conductor Helene Stureborg and Cedwin Sandanam, gospel choir leader, to assess the choirs' performances.
