EQT raises bid for London-listed Intertek to £9.2 billion (about SEK 115 billion)

The new offer of £60 a share is £2 higher than a previous offer.

The offer represents a premium of 59 percent compared to Intertek's share price on April 9, the trading day before EQT's first offer.

Intertek - whose board has previously rejected three bids from EQT - provides testing and certification services to industries and has over 44,000 employees in more than 100 countries.
